Embroiderer Recreates The Famous Cookie Tin Full Of Sewing Supplies From Grandma's House

There are a few things in this world that are oddly specific universal experiences: being absolutely sure it was the Berenstein Bears, and being disappointed when the cookie tin at your grandma's did not, in fact, contain cookies.

I don't know why, but moms and grandmas everywhere stocked those cookie tins with sewing supplies. And now, a Reddit user has turned that universal habit into an embroidery project that you just have to see.

Ah, memories.

First of all, how insane is it that this was hand embroidered? Katerina, aka stitching_wildflower on Reddit really took their time to perfectly texture those cookies and, I, for one, appreciate it.

BUT WAIT.

This embroidery is hiding a little secret. Underneath the top of the "lid" is a little secret — and unfortunately, I think we all know the secret is not cookie-related.

This is GENIUS.

I cannot believe how beautifully this was done. Look at those scissors! The thread made of thread! And the buttons! The level of detail here is pure art.

I have great news, too.

If you'd like to buy this absolutely hilarious set of embroideries, head over to @see.me.stitch on Instagram and shoot Katerina a DM!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm suddenly craving cookies...
