Woman Goes Viral After Explaining How She Spotted A Man's Catfishing Attempt On Dating App

Dating in 2021 does not seem easy. In fact, it seems really, really difficult. Forget that there's a global pandemic — people don't just meet anymore. People don't just go on dates anymore. Kids these days meet online and then "hang out" in random places. Now, call me old fashion, but this is not how a true, long-lasting relationship should start.

I'm glad I met my husband my husband when I did, I don't think I could handle online dating.

While the websites do seem easy enough to grasp, it's the phone apps that really send my head for a spin.

Thankfully, if you DO find yourself in a position to date on the apps, there are women out there to help.

TikTok user Tanith Gregory is here to help you identify catfishing on dating apps because trust me, there's a lot of them.

Have you seen 90 Day Fiancé?

In a viral video, Tanith showed a seemingly normal profile on a dating app before explaining how there was a major, MAJOR tell in that this dude was a catfish.

In her video, Tanith shows a profile for "Andrew" who's supposedly 48 years old.

Well, no.— actually. "Andrew" got a little sloppy with his profile, and let the whole world know that he's actually a complete fake.

At the top of the profile image, you can see the Google search bar for "Tim Johnson model."

"If you’re going to go to the effort of catfishing people on Tinder, Andrew, at least go to the effort of cropping the Google search out," snapped Tanith.

The irony of all of this? Andrew says he's "loyal" in his profile.

Well, ladies and gentleman — there you have it! If you see a man who can't even go through the effort of properly catfishing, make sure to share a video about it with the internet.
