Gen Z Is Stamping Strangers' Skin With Their Names Instead Of Handing Out Phone Numbers

A lot has changed in the world of dating.

Gone are the days of meeting someone in a bar and mustering up the courage to deliver cheesy pickup lines.

Nowadays, there's a new way to get the digits of someone you like. And it involves stamping a stranger's skin with your contact info...

Sounds weird, but it works.

Forget swapping numbers, it's all about *stamping* numbers!

This new way of connecting was first introduced to the world on TikTok.

It's especially popular in the UK, with women purchasing customized ink stamps that include their name, number, and Instagram handle.

From there, the person they stamped can look them up on social media.

This helps avoid any awkward rejection from asking someone for their number.

Now, you can just "stamp" someone you like in a crowd and wait to see if they take the bait.

Nineteen-year-old Annabel Smith shared her experience with stamping on TikTok.

She showed several guys with stamps on them, including their foreheads!

At the end of the night, the clever idea worked: she had tons of messages and friend requests on her Instagram.

In the comments, many people were absolutely intrigued.

"A new way of boyfriend shopping," one commented. Of course, there were a few jokes, too. "Imagine ur man comes home and he has one of these on him."

LOL. What do you think of stamping? Would you try it? Let us know!
