Eco-Friendly Confetti Made From Leaves Is The Perfect DIY To Fall In Love With

Who here is planning their wedding? Oh my goodness, I feel you. I'm in the same boat. There is so much to do and so many ideas.

For example, do you throw rice or confetti after the ceremony? Well, I don't plan on doing either. I actually stumbled upon a great eco-friendly option that's so much better for the environment.

I know it's a sweet tradition to throw either rice or confetti to celebrate the newlyweds.

It's cute — I get it! But, it's such a waste. Don't you think? I mean, the confetti is paper, so that's a no-go for me.

So I was super excited when I found out about another idea.

It's a lot more eco-friendly. And I think it's more interesting if you asked me. Did you know that people are making confetti out of leaves? Oh my!

Isn't that so fantastic or what?

This way, you get to reuse something that already exists in nature. And, there's no littering with this idea either. The chances are your guests will be impressed by the gesture.

I actually heard about this a while ago.

So, once it gets closer to the date of my wedding, I'm planning to start collecting leaves. Then, I'm going to make confetti out of them. What do you think of that, huh?

But you don't necessarily have to use dried leaves.

You can also use fresh ones for this purpose. So don't stress too much about it. Get your family to help you out with punching out the confetti, so you don't have to do it all yourself.

You can certainly use just a regular hole punch, but that might not be as cute.

So, why not invest in one that can make adorable hearts, huh? I'm definitely thinking of purchasing something like this for my wedding day.

How gorgeous does that look to you?

Oh, I absolutely love it. I know it might take some time, but I think in the end, it will be worth it. I would probably keep a few of these as a sweet keepsake.

Now, this idea would work for any other occasion.

It doesn't have to be a wedding. You can make this leaf confetti for a birthday celebration or even a graduation ceremony. No matter what the event, it will be such a great memory.

Are you digging this idea as much as I do?

I'm so thrilled there are so many cool options to help the environment while still sticking to tradition. "Where there's a will there's a way," as they say. Am I right?
