Kate Winslet Opens Up About Rejecting Suggestion To Photoshop Sex Scene In 'Mare Of Easttown'

Kate Winslet is not down for photoshop.

This puts her in good company with these celebs who have all been outspoken against the editing software.

While many have refused photoshop on magazine covers and Instagram photos, the Titanic actress refused a touch-up in her newest HBO crime drama — and we love her for it.

Kate Winslet is no stranger to nude scenes.

Who could forget her steamy sex scene in the back of a car with Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic?

She was also semi-nude in that film when Leo's character Jack drew a portrait of her character Rose.

She told the *New York Times* that she wants viewers to see unfiltered middle-aged women.

“She’s a fully functioning, flawed woman with a body and a face that moves in a way that is synonymous with her age and her life and where she comes from. I think we’re starved of that a bit," she said.

At 45, she has a sex scene in her new role as detective sergeant Mare Sheehan in the hit HBO crime drama, *Mare of Easttown*.

But when director, Craig Zobel, tried to cut “a bulgy bit of belly” from her sex scene, she responded, "Don't you dare!"

We love her authenticity! Kate also admitted that this might be her last nude scene.

“I’m just not that comfortable doing it anymore. It’s not even really an age thing, actually," she said. "There comes a point where people are going to go, ‘Oh, here she goes again.’”
