Morgan Freeman Is Saving The Planet After Turning His 124-Acre Ranch Into A Bee Sanctuary

Morgan Freeman is one of the most beloved celebrities in Hollywood, we know this to be true. Being a Morgan Freeman fan is like breathing oxygen or paying taxes — it's just what people have to do!

So when I heard there was yet another reason to be a fan of this Hollywood legend, I knew I had to share it with y'all!

Morgan Freeman recently celebrated his 84th birthday. I know, right?

His work ethic, charismatic personality, and warm smile are enough to make him seem ageless forever.

With a career spanning over five decades, it's easy to see why everyone is a Freeman fan.

However, did you know his fanbase doesn't stop at *just* people?

That's right — he's got fans in the bees, too! Yep, that's right! The king of cinema is also the king of beekeeping!

Morgan first got into beekeeping back in 2014 after the mass bee die-off in the US, as per Forbes.

Since then, Morgan has imported more than 26 beehives from Arkansas to his 124-acre ranch in Mississippi.

Of course, his ranch isn't just any ranch — it's a bee's paradise with clover, magnolia trees, and lavender always in bloom!

While appearing on *The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon* Morgan explained the importance of bee conservation.

"There is a concerted effort for bringing bees back onto the planet... We do not realize that they are the foundation, I think, of the growth of the planet, the vegetation," he said at the time.

If that isn't sweet enough, Morgan makes sure he feeds them with sugar and water and has become so friendly with the bee's he doesn't wear a beekeeper's suit!

The actor told Jimmy Fallon that beekeeper suits are for people who don't "resonate" with the bees.

Am I surprised that Morgan has connected with them? Absolutely not!

What a wonderful man he is!
