Twitter Is Having A Field Day With One User's 'Camel Toe' Nike Shoes

Well, this is awkward...

Nike is making a comeback on their popular '90s shoes called the Nike Air Rift. But something pretty obvious stands out the second you look at it: it's serving literal camel toe vibes.

Nope, we're not kidding. The shoe has been getting all sorts of mixed reactions online. Come see for yourself!

If you go inside the Nike vault, you'll find that this isn't the company's new foray into split-toe shoes.

The first Nike Air Rift was released in 1996, signifying Nike's first step into natural motion footwear.

Air Rift name takes its inspiration from Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.

This is fitting, considering Nike received input on the shoe from barefoot-long distance runners in Kenya.

The end result was a split toe that provides more articulation between a runner's first and second toes.

In modern day, Nike brought the '90s shoe back with several different metallic finishes.

But even with its rich history, those on Twitter can't deny the obvious: the shoes are serving literal camel toe vibes.

"We making camel toe shoes now?" wrote one user.

Some were actually digging the camel toe look!

"I need these where they at!?" added another.

Interested as well? These rose gold ones are currently sold out, but you can check out other versions on the company's website.
