Another one leaves the nest!
The Sex and the City star can relate to millions of parents around the globe this time of year: it's high school graduation time.
To mark the occasion, the star did something surprising: she shared a rare picture of her son. She accompanied it with a "weepy" tribute that would truly make any parent weep.
What we do know is that she's been married to fellow actor Matthew Broderick since 1997 and the pair share three children.
There's James who recently turned 18 and their 11-year-old twins, Tabitha and Marion.
In the picture, he's walking off "into the sunset" in a purple hoodie and a striped headband.
She shared how the whole family is cheering for James. "We, all of us Parker-Brodericks are proud, weepy and so looking forward to celebrating your coming graduation."
"Beautifully said. This one hit deep," wrote Witherspoon, who had to tearfully send her daughter, Ava, off to college in 2019.
