Gwyneth Paltrow Claims She Went 'Off The Rails' And Ate Bread During Quarantine

Gwyneth Paltrow has been stirring up a lot of controversies lately. From her Goop Lab series on Netflix to running her own lifestyle brand website, it's obvious Gwyneth is a lady on a mission to stir up some drama. With all this madness going on, it's easy to forget the 48-year-old used to be an actress.

I know, right? I forgot too!

Sometimes, however, it feels like Gwyneth should have stuck to acting, instead of giving health advice, which she is coming under fire for, again.

Gwyneth Paltrow is no stranger to having her criticized.

The goop founder has been called out for recommending dangerous health tips for years now.

Remember when she told everyone to steam their vaginas or to only put sunscreen on the parts of their face they want to "highlight"? Crazy times!

Despite all of this, surely Gwyneth has to still remember what it's like to be a normal person, right?

You know, someone who works a normal job and eats normal foods — like bread!

Well, apparently not. In a new interview with the Smartless podcast, the actress got candid about just how off the rails she got during this past year in the pandemic.

"I drank alcohol during quarantine," the 48-year-old admitted.

"I was drinking seven nights a week and making pasta and eating bread. I went totally off the rails. I mean, who drinks multiple drinks seven nights a week? Like that’s not healthy," Gwyneth said, as per the Mirror.

"I love whiskey and I make this fantastic drink called the Buster Paltrow, which I named after my grandfather who loved whiskey sours."

Of course, it's not just normal people whiskey... no no, it's quinoa whiskey.

“And it’s this great quinoa whiskey from this distillery in Tennessee with maple syrup and lemon juice. It’s just heaven. I would have two of those every night of quarantine."

As you can imagine, the world did a collective eye roll when they heard Gwyneth say this.

If eating pasta and bread means I'm going off the rails, then honey, I have been off-roading for years!
