Katherine Schwarzenegger Gushes That Chris Pratt Is 'Super Supportive' While She Breastfeeds

Being a new mom is one of the exciting, and exhausting times of a woman's life. It's filled with so many precious moments and so many sleepless nights. The only way I got through it was with a cheerleading squad of friends and family members rooting for me everytime I went to feed.

Now, it seems Katherine Schwarzenegger has her own support system in hubby Chris Pratt, who to be fair, has enough muscles to be his own small football team.

In case you missed it, Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter Katherine gave birth to her first baby last year with husband Chris Pratt.

The pair tied the knot back in 2019 and welcomed their baby girl Lyla Maria nine months ago.

Now, Katherine is opening up about her first year of motherhood, and about how supportive her hubby has been.

"My husband has always been super supportive," the 31-year-old shared with model Iskra Lawrence on her Instagram video series, "BDA (Before, During & After) Baby."

"He'll look at our daughter and be like, 'Can you believe your body is able to feed our baby?'"

She then went on to discuss the pressure of getting her "body back" after giving birth.

"Sometimes, I think — especially as women with this pressure to bounce back after baby — you have to keep in mind that when you're breastfeeding, you need to, as my husband says, 'eat to win,' and to feed yourself so you can also properly nourish your baby.

She continued: "Because for a lot of people, what you eat and how you treat your body also hugely impacts your milk supply."

This is not the first time Katherine has opened up to fans about her journey into motherhood.

Back in December, she shared on Instagram: "Being pregnant in a pandemic and having a baby too, was not how I expected my pregnancy and becoming a mother to go, but I couldn't be more thrilled and grateful to have my little Lyla Maria in my life and to be able to be her mom," she wrote to followers.

Fans were loving the positivity in addition to swooning over how caring Chris is!

I hope all new moms get the same type of TLC because you all deserve it so much!
