Let me ask you a question: How are you coping with staying at home with the kids during all these lockdowns? Are you just about to go insane?

I can only imagine what parents are going through these days. How do you keep your kids occupied? There is one cute idea I recently discovered which I think you're going to really like.

If you have little girls at home, it may be a challenge to keep them entertained.

I bet you're already running out of ideas, huh? Don't worry. I've got you covered. This super cute idea will be a huge hit.

Getting their nails done, right? But, you can't exactly get them to paint yours every day — after all, most moms are looking for activities that will keep kids occupied so they can get a few minutes of peace. Well, there is a better idea out there, and it's quite brilliant.

You can set up a mini nail salon station right in your house.

All you need are a few items to get things going. Get some cardboard, markers, and of course, a bunch of nail polishes you don't mind using.

Then get your kids to trace your hands and their own hands right on the cardboard.

Create a few of these sets of hands. Then you can set up a nail station beside each set of hands with different nail polish options.

You can even locate the nail salon right on the floor, ha, ha!

That way, you don't have to worry about running out of cardboard. I think this looks like a fabulous activity. Aren't your kids going to love it?

Imagine how much time you can save while your kids play like this?

I bet it's a lot. You can even prepare the cardboard hands ahead of time. Just keep giving them new ones to paint colors on, ha, ha!

Of course, it goes without saying that you can take some time to show the kids how to do this.

They can come up with funky nail patterns they can create using their imagination. This is not only useful but creative, too.

This activity is a great take on coloring. Am I right?

You can even take this a step further and teach the girls more about makeup. They can draw eyes and play with some eye shadow color combinations. The possibilities with this idea are virtually endless.

Do you think your kids would enjoy setting up a mini nail salon like this?

I say whatever keeps them occupied safely is a good thing in my book. It's also a great bonding activity for sisters, and I love that about it.
