Who here is a neat freak? I have to admit, I am. Truth be told, I prefer to have everything well-organized. The same can be said about all my cleaning supplies.

Are they somewhere nearby where you can easily reach them? Or are you like me, and keep them in the sink? That way, they're right where you need them.

The best way to house those sponges is in a stick-on holder.

I always have a few of those. But after some time, I find that the suction cups don't work anymore, and guess what? Then the darn holder won't stay up.

I hear you, and I do have a remedy for that. Thanks to TikTok, of course, I stumbled upon this cleaning hack. So get ready, to never have to deal with this problem again.

A user going by the handle @alroessler shared her simple yet very effective solution with her followers.

And get this, you only need one item to fix your problem. OMG, what? I don't know about you, but I love these types of solutions.

I bet you're really eager to find out what this product is, right?

It is — petroleum jelly. Aha! I think she is on to something. Okay, so what do I do with this information now? How do I proceed?

All you need to do is rub some petroleum jelly on the back of the suction cups.

And as you guessed it, it acts as an adhesive. So your sponge holder won't fall off anymore. Isn't it such a genius idea?

Of course, as you can imagine, once people saw this video, they flipped out!

Why? Because as it turns out, this happens to a lot of us. And we had no idea this Vaseline hack even existed.

Some folks even resorted to some rather unusual fixes for this problem.

A word to the wise, don't try this at home! As you can clearly see from the comments, some people came up with their own questionable hacks, like using super glue. Oh, boy, ha, ha!
