Everybody changes in life. If you compared a photo of me now to a photo of me ten years ago, well, you'd see a pretty drastic difference (good luck finding those pictures, though, I've kept them on lockdown since I found my first grey hair!).
It's always surprising to see a celebrity's face change after we've gotten so used to them looking a certain way!
Unless you're someone who's made not having a recognizable face as part of your brand, like Sia, Daft Punk, or Deadmau5, being a celebrity is all about people knowing who you are and what you look like.
Even if you didn't watch High School Musical on repeat like I did, you've probably seen him in at least one of his other super popular roles in films like Neighbors, Baywatch, Extremely Wicked Shockingly Evil And Vile, The Greatest Showman, That Awkward Moment, and loads more.

Fans couldn't help but notice that Zac's face was looking a little bit different than the last time that they had seen him, and took to social media to discuss it.
Many fans pointed out Zac had just gotten older, and wasn't a teenager anymore. Nobody's face will look exactly the same their entire life!
"Everyone making fun of Zac Efron’s face... you think you are the comic relief in the movie but you are actually the villain," one fan tweeted.
"He looks exactly like I did when I got jaw surgery done," one fan wrote on Instagram. "Maybe he's just a little swollen? You guys are soooo judgmental."
Other fans suggested it might be the result of an injury Zac had previously sustained.
"He looks absolutely unrecognizable," one fan wrote on Instagram.
Of course, that's part of the aging process! Zac obviously looks extremely handsome no matter what, and we would all consider ourselves lucky to look even half as good as he does!
