Is there any song opening more iconic than Shania Twain informing the girls that it is, in fact, time to get going in the intro to 'Man, I Feel Like A Woman'? Even though the song came out over 20 years ago (I know, don't remind me, it makes ME feel old too), the song itself has remained totally ageless.
And so has the woman singing it.
That's why I personally cover all of my calendars with blankets and refuse to acknowledge how many years ago it was exactly that I was seeing all of my favorite movies for the first time in theaters. It works for me!
That advantage is being able to celebrate the huge milestones these moments hit and getting to relive the magic of youth again for just a minute!
Also, it's fun to see how well (or how poorly) some of the celebrities behind them have aged.
I could sit here and list all of her iconic songs like 'Man, I Feel Like A Woman,' 'It Only Hurts When I Breathe,' 'Nah,' 'Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under,' 'Any Man of Mine,' 'I Ain't No Quitter'... I could go on, but it would literally take all day to list all her best work!
Part of it has to do with her emerging with a bang onto TikTok to show all the kids out there what REAL music sounds like!
I love the video where she ranks her iconic intros. Nobody does it like Shania!
Especially the one for 'Man, I Feel Like A Woman' which includes the iconic shot of Shania in a full suit stripping off layers to reveal a SUPER sexy sleeveless/strapless black look, thigh high black boots with black fishnets and a black top hat, all brought together with a white blazer.
How is it possible that Shania looks better now than I looked when the song first came out in 1999? It's just not fair!

That's a fair question! If I tried to put on any of MY outfits from 20 years ago, I would probably go viral too, but not because of how great I looked — because I would definitely get STUCK!
