British actress Helen McCrory is dead at 52, as reported by the BBC.

According to Helen's husband, Damian Lewis, the actress died after a battle with cancer.
"I'm heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family," he said on Twitter.
"She died as she lived. Fearlessly."
The statement concluded: "God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you."
Fans have been sending messages of love on social media.
Known best for her roles as Aunt Polly on Peaky Blinders and Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, Helen has been a powerhouse in Hollywood for decades.
The *Peaky Blinders* official Instagram account sent their condolences.
"All our love and thoughts are with Helen’s family. Rest in peace," the account wrote.
In addition to her aforementioned roles, the English actress also appeared in the James Bond film "Skyfall," and played Cherie Booth, wife of U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, in "The Queen" and "The Special Relationship."
