Celeb Women Over 50 Spill Their Secrets On How They Stay Fit And Healthy

Ever looked at radiant and youthful celebs and wondered, "what's their secret?"

While they have trainers, nutritionists, and chefs at their fingertips, they also put in the #werk.

Celebs like Madonna and Jennifer Aniston are even working out six to seven times per week! Maybe getting older ain't so bad.

Here, 10+ celeb women over 50 talk about how they stay fit and healthy.

1. Julianne Moore

The actress credits her lean appearance to yoga.

"I try to do Ashtanga yoga two to three times a week," she shared with Health. While she also works out with a trainer, she doesn't overdue it at her age.

2. Jane Fonda

Want to know how the Grace & Frankie actress looks so young at 83? Staying active.

“I’m never going to stop,” Fonda told the Daily Mail. “The most important thing is to keep moving, to stay active. That’s what I do and that’s how to stay strong.”

While she's no longer making aerobic videos, she does age-appropriate exercises.

"I walk. I lift lighter weights. I move more slowly. But keep moving," she told Healthy Living. "Keeping your body active is absolutely critical. If you’re in a wheelchair, move your arms.”

3. Christie Brinkley

Can you believe the model is 67?! There's just no way to tell!

When talking to Shape, she revealed that her secrets to youth are a mixture of yoga, Total Gym exercise, and a healthy diet that includes lots of colorful vegetables.

4. Jennifer Aniston

Jen puts in the #werk to look as good as she does at 52. She eats healthy and works out seven days per week!

Her personal trainer, Leyon Azubuike, told Women's Health that she trains for an hour and a half per session. Dang!

She's also obsessed with yoga.

She's been a devotee to the practice since 2005, and even credits it for "keeping her limbs lean."

Whenever she's looking to lose some weight, she will even add in a cardio component to the exercise.

5. Sharon Stone

The Basics Instinct actress is dancing her way through aging — literally.

"I dance like nobody's watching and I dance hard until I sweat and I think that that's very good. It's good for the mind and the body," she told People.

6. Sarah Jessica Parker

As a mother of three, the Sex and the City actress found a way of combining motherhood with exercise.

"Honestly, my daughters insist on being carried at the exact same time," she revealed on an episode of This Morning.

7. Vanessa Williams

Part of what makes her look so good at 57 is working out everyday, regardless of the activity.

"I try to do something everyday, whether it's taking a class or jumping on the treadmill," she told ABC News. "Also, yoga, just trying to keep moving for sure."

8. Helen Mirren

She's living the high life at 75, in large part to the balance she's stuck with her health.

"I've never done anything to excess," she told People. "I've never drunk or eaten too much. It helps to stay balanced."

9. Madonna

There's no slowing Madonna down.

At 62, she still works out about six days per week with her trainer. They do a combo of circuit and interval training and resistance workouts for at least 30 minutes.

10. Halle Berry

The actress credits her six-pack abs to boxing.

“Boxing is still considered one of the best full-body workouts," she wrote on Instagram next to a picture of herself and her trainer, Peter Lee Thomas.

“You’ll sculpt every muscle and burn major calories and fat."

11. Elle Macpherson

She's known as "The Body" for a reason: she loves to be active, especially outdoors.

"I love outdoor activities to stay in shape like road biking, skiing, paddle-boarding. More than keeping physically fit, I have fun and relax in nature too," she told the Daily Star.

She's been the picture of youth for decades!

In addition to taking many vitamins, she practices yoga every other day. I will do yoga till I die. I do it every other day," Somers told ET.

As the spokesperson for the ThighMaster, you better bet that she still uses it!

"So much so I was noticing that I worn off the thingy," she told ET. She's also a huge believer in getting frisky... a lot.

13. Jennifer Lopez

If there's any celeb who's aging in reverse, it's Jlo. In addition to no smoking, no alcohol, and no caffeine, she works out three or four times per week with two different celeb trainers.

When she's in New York, it's David Kirsch and when she's in L.A., it's Tracy Anderson.

She is also a huge lover of eating healthy, telling the *Daily Mail* that "what you put inside of your body can matter just as much as what goes onto your skin."

“We eat a lot of green vegetables, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, broccoli and kale. I love to cook, I cook a lot of stuff, I love cooking Puerto Rican food because that’s what I grew up on," she said.
