Chris Pratt And Katherine Schwarzenegger Won't Pics Of Their Baby Online — As They Should

There are a lot of difficult decisions that parents have to make together. What to name your baby, where you want them to go to school, when are they old enough to stay home alone... all these questions have followed parents for years.

One rather new decision is making the call about whether or not you want to share your child's photos online.

In August of last year, actor Chris Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, welcomed their first child together.

Their daughter, Lyla, has not made any appearances on the social media pages of either new parent, however. Katherine has opened up about why this is on The Today Show and she revealed it has to do with how her father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, raised her.

Katherine said she was afforded privacy as a child despite being the daughter of a superstar.

"I think that one of the greatest gifts that my parents ever gave me and my siblings is the gift of privacy and having a really normal upbringing, or as normal of an upbringing as possible," Katherine explained.

Katherine explained that this allowed to her to form her own identity.

"We were allowed to be our own people and have our own identity and kind of choose to step into whatever form of being public we wanted to when we felt comfortable. And I think that was such an incredible gift to have given us kids," she said.

"It's something that's really important to my husband and I to give to our kids and to be able to have that privacy, and not necessarily show much of them on social media," she went on.

Do you agree with Katherine? Do you share photos of your kids on social media, or do you try to keep that private? Let us know how you feel in the comments below!
