Fans Rally Behind Amber Heard's Latest Instagram Post About Johnny Depp Court Case

Amber Heard hasn't said too much outside of the court about her ongoing legal battle with ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

Until now.

Fans have been rallying behind the actress ever since she shared two photos from court. One of these photos included a bruised face.

Amber Heard has been constantly reminded of her ex, Johnny Depp, lately.

If you remember, the pair have been in an ongoing legal process ever since they ended their 15-month marriage in 2016.

A week after this, Heard filed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp.

In court documents, she claimed that she "endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny."

"I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him," she wrote.

Ever since the claims were made, Depp has been adamant in denying them.

He even filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit in March 2019 after Heard wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post, calling herself a domestic abuse victim.

He also claimed that Heard "violently abused" him.

One of the most recent developments in their ongoing case is Johnny losing his bid to overturn ruling in libel case.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star had gone after The Sun publisher News Group Newspapers for calling him a "wife-beater" in relation to his relationship with his ex-wife.

Appeals Judges Lord Justice Dingemans and Lord Justice Underhill denied Depp's bid of a retrial in a 14-page document.

They stated that the inital hearing before Judge Andrew Niccol was "full and fair".

They also stated that:

The trial judge "gave thorough reasons for his conclusions which have not been shown even arguably to be vitiated by any error of approach or mistake of law."

After the news was announced, Johnny's previous lawyer, Adam Waldman, slammed Amber on Twitter.

She ended up responding to the tweet by dissing Waldman.

“Yes Mr Waldman, I may be wearing makeup on this occasion but on every occasion you will still be short," she wrote.

The *Aquaman* star has also been busy fending off angry Johnny Depp fans on Twitter.

After one user wrote, “I’d rather be short than an abusive gold digger" in response to Amber's diss to Waldman, she responded with,

“It’s good to be realistic with your goals.”

"Is this why you ripped off sick children? Too short for your liking?" another troll wrote.

This was in response to Depp's claims that Amber didn't donate the $7 million settlement she received from him to the ACLU and the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

She later told the court that she donated part of it to two organizations.

The statement by her lawyer, reported by Deadline, read:

“Amber has already been responsible for seven figures in donations to charitable causes and intends to continue to contribute and eventually fulfill her pledge,”

They continued:

“However, Amber has been delayed in that goal because Mr. Depp filed a lawsuit against her, and consequently, she has been forced to spend millions of dollars defending Mr. Depp’s false accusations against her.”

This week, the star also took to Instagram to share some thoughts on Johnny Depp's court case.

She shared two photos of her wearing the same dress on two very different occasions.

The first, taken in May 2016, was when she attended a hearing asking for a restraining order from Depp.

Her face was bruised at the time from the alleged domestic abuse she endured from Depp.

The second photo was taken in July 2020, when she testified against Depp in his libel lawsuit against The Sun's publishers.

"One dress, four years apart. Sometimes it’s important to wear the same thing twice," she captioned the post.

While comments on her Instagram post are limited, she did receive some support from fans.

Four people commented hearts, while one posted three strong-arm emojis. She also received lots of love on Twitter.

While we're not certain what will come from Amber's legal battle, we do know that she has fans rallying behind her.

People are not shy to show their support for her.

It's practically overwhelming to go through the tweets on Twitter that are praising her and demanding justice for her.

Fans on both sides clearly have a lot to say about the matter!
