According to Kate's recent interview with Conan O'Brien, Goldie was way "too open" about her sex life with longtime partner, Kurt Russell.

Goldie gave birth to Kate in April 1979 while she was still married to her ex-husband, Bill Hudson.
To this day, they both have nothing but the sweetest things to say about their inseparable connection.
Goldie and Bill separated 18 months after she was born, resulting in Kate and her older brother Oliver having an estranged relationship with her father.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Bill said that his two kids were “dead” to him and that he urged his kids to stop using his surname if they wanted no relation with him.
While the two never married, they are committed to each other. They've been together 37 years, after all!
In an interview with People, Goldie and Russell shared why they never made things official.
"For people like us, the marriage certificate wasn’t going to create anything that otherwise we wouldn’t have," Russell added.
"I don’t know. 40 years isn’t enough to finally say, 'Well I guess...'"
Namely, Goldie majorly oversharing about her sex life with The Christmas Chronicles actor.
We guess that's what you get when you have a best friend relationship with your mom!
"Sometimes mom will share something with me and I am like, ‘Mom, that is just [too much]. I am, like, ‘I love it and I am here for you, but that is not where I was expecting this conversation to go.'"
They also "never hid their issues," Hudson said.
"If they were having a fight, we knew it. We knew they were going through it and needed to talk stuff out."
During the interview, Kate also described herself as a "worker bee" in school and not a party girl like some people have assumed over the years.
Even if she had been a bit of a rebel, we're sure a cool mom like Goldie would have been okay with it!
