10+ Celebrities Who Have Been Together Forever And Never Got Married

For some people, marriage is truly a piece of paper.

They don't need a formal commitment to remain loyal and loving to their partner. In some cases, not being married has even helped their relationship.

Famous examples include Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham and Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn.

Here are 10+ celeb couples who never married.

1. Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale

Everything about this couple screams long-term: they've been together since 2012, and have two sons together, Rocco and Rafa.

But when it comes to marriage, Bryne has said that they'll get around to it one day.

2. Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham

It's crazy to think that the media mogul has been with Graham for three decades after meeting at a charity event in 1986.

While they were engaged in 1992, a wedding never followed.

This is something that Winfrey sees as a good thing.

"We would not have stayed together, because marriage requires a different way of being in this world," she told Vogue.

"His interpretation of what it means to be a husband and what it would mean for me to be a wife would have been pretty traditional, and I would not have been able to fit into that."

3. Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor

The pair have been together for a long time and share an age gap of more than 30 years. But when it comes to marriage, they seem perfectly content to remain just dating.

Sarah even made it clear that she doesn't care what people think in an interview with Elle.

"I didn't choose to fall in love with the person I fell in love with," Sarah said.

"But I think why it's interesting to people is that on paper, it's unconventional. For a person who might find themselves in a situation that they fear will be misperceived or judged, maybe they could see me living my life in a way that is authentic to me."

4. Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

This couple has proved that age is just a number and that marriage is just a piece of paper.

They've been together for a decade and share three-year-old son, Jack. So far, marriage hasn't been a part of the equation.

5. Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes

This private couple has been known to keep a lot under wraps. They have been together since 2011 and have two daughters, but you'll see no evidence of that on social media.

They also have no plans of wedding bells ringing soon.

Mendes previously explained this during a *Chelsea Lately* appearance that "marriage is unsexy."

She said that she "think[s] it's really sexy to be with someone in your 50s and 60s and be like, 'That's my boyfriend.'"

6. Shakira and Gerard Piqué

8. John Corbett and Bo Derek

9. Maya Rudolph and Paul Thomas Anderson

The Saturday Night Live alum has been with the director for 20 years without any formal commitment. In Hollywood terms, that's practically a lifetime together.

"It means he's the father of my child, and I live with him, and we are a couple, and we are not going anywhere," she told *The New York Times*.

At the end of the day, Maya and Paul feel that they have a spiritual and emotional union with one another.

They don't need a piece of paper in a glass frame to remind them of their love.

10. Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova

This couple is super low-key. The former tennis pro and her pop star partner have been together for 15 years but rarely flaunt their love pubicly.

They prefer to keep things private, just between the two of them.

They're also super unlikely to get married, according to an interview Enrique did with CBS:

"For me, I chose to stay. Kurt chose to stay, and we like the choice."

In 2018, the couple put their relationship to the test in the film *Wildlife*
