These Golden Girls-Inspired Hot Sauces Are Just As Spicy As Their Inspiration

Although the show ended almost 27 years ago and three of its stars are sadly no longer with us, the Golden Girls remains as big a hit with us today as it was with our parents back in the '80s.

Part of that is because a lot of grew up watching reruns of it, but it also has a lot to do with the clever banter between the ladies and how well Bea Arthur, Betty White, Estelle Getty, and Rue McClanahan sold the materials they were given.

But while many of us will celebrate the Golden Girls' savagery with an appropriately sassy gif, there's an even spicier way to show your fandom.

A company called Always Fits has assembled a pack of hot sauces that represent each of the four ladies.

Always Fits

According to their website, you can get them all in a pack of four, or contact them directly for a case of your preferred flavor.

But of course, it's hard to confidently make that order without knowing how spicy things will get.

So, let's go over each flavor starting with the one with the punniest name, Bea Spicy.

Appropriately, the sauce inspired by Dorothy Zbornak is on the milder side and is made from tangy jalapeƱos instead of anything too overpowering.

The same is also true for the flavor named for Betty White's character, Desert Rose.

Unfortunately, the Always Fits website isn't clear on the difference in taste between this one and Bea Spicy.

Based on their characters, however, it seems plausible that Desert Rose is on the sweeter side while Bea Spicy is drier.

Now we're getting into the really hot stuff with the Sophia Petrillo-inspired Sicilian Fire.

Always Fits

This one is made from carrot puree, garlic, spices and habanero peppers if you're the type who really likes to kick it up a notch.

It sounds like it matches Sophia's fiery personality well.

Finally, we've saved the most provocative for last with Hot Slut, which could only be made with Blanche Devereaux in mind.

Always Fits

As intense as is may sound, it's probably a title that Blanche would confidently self-apply.

Once again, it uses habanero peppers like Sicilian Fire does, but there's not much information on the difference between the two flavors.

Of course, if you're the adventurous type, you can answer that question for yourself.

The four-pack is now available for order on the Always Fits website for $36 a pop.

Enjoy!
