Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split after just seven months of marriage, a rep confirmed to People.
The pair tied the knot in December of 2018.
At the time, Miley was 17 and Liam was 19-years-old.
Throughout their teen years, they dated on and off (as most teens tend to do).
Still, they called their relationship off, only to reunite in 2016, when she confirmed her re-engagement.
It was a small wedding, with only close friends and family attending at her Tennessee home.
It was a low-key event that melted the hearts of Miley fans everywhere.
After the wedding, they appeared to be living in newlywed bliss - for a time, anyway.
He appeared to get choked up during the story: "She took my name, which was great. I think that was, honestly, one of the best things about it. I didn't ask her to take my name. And then she was like, 'no of course I'm taking your name.'"
"Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers," they explained.
Some fans grew suspicious of the split when Miley posted a photo on Instagram without her wedding ring yesterday.
I mean, can you blame them?
"I think it's very confusing to people that I'm married," she said.
"And I don't know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it's so complex, and modern, and new that I don't think we're in a place where people would get it."
(For the record, I don't think anyone thought that.)
"People become vegetarian for health reasons, but bacon is still [expletive] good, and I know that."
"This is the person I feel has my back the most."
