Britney Spears' Kids Are Literally So Grown Up
I'm sure you remember the dumpster fire that was Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's relationship.

There were ups. There were downs. There were more downs.
But somewhere in the mix, they had two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden.
Their relationship was exhausting to watch. It was a whole mess.
But somehow, against all odds, the two went from feuding exes to supportive co-parents right before our very eyes.
While the pair were still very much in love, they had back-to-back babies.

Less than one year after getting married, Britney proudly showed off her baby bump to the paparazzi.
They welcomed their first son together, Sean Preston, on September 14th, 2005.
Less than a year after that, just when their marriage started to go up in flames, they announced their second pregnancy.

They had their second son, Jayden, on September 12th, 2006.
Evidently, Brit and K-Fed did not work out as a couple.

Their divorce was finalized in 2007, but the grueling custody battle over their two sons was far from over.
Their divorce was vicious, but the fight for their children was much worse.
This was around the time when Britney infamously shaved her head.
What a wild ride!
This was also around the time when Britney was charged with a hit-and-run.

She was banned from driving with her children — but did it anyway.
She also took her children out of state without the court’s permission, and was seen taking the kids to restaurants late at night.
So, ultimately, K-Fed was granted temporary custody of the Sean Preston and Jayden.

Fast forward to 2013 — everything seems to be smoothed over.
Britney and Kevin are cordial enough to be around each other for their kids when necessary.
Which brings us to now.

Everyone's happy.
Kevin tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Victoria Prince, in 2013.
Britney is dating her 25-year-old personal trainer, Sam Asghari.
But most importantly, the kids seem happy.

They also seem to be all grown up.
One minute, Britney was carrying Preston on her hip — nearly dropping him on the pavement, and now he's a full-on teenager.
Jayden isn't quite a teenager yet, but he will be soon!

With September right around the corner, he'll be turning 13, while Preston will be turning 14.
Brit recently posted a photo of herself in between her two sons at Disneyland.

"Great time at Disneyland today .... but I don’t remember ever getting that wet on splash mountain," she captioned the post.
"Geeez .... anyhow my boys are older now, so they don’t like their picture taken ever...," she continued.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that the last time I checked, Preston and Jayden were babies.
