'Peaky Blinders' Season Five Comes Back Sunday August 25

Waiting is awful, we all hate it. But luckily, the wait is almost over!

Our favorite gangster show, Peaky Blinders is coming back this month, on Sunday, August 25th.

The new series will focus on Tommy's adventure into the political world.

The summary describes it as being "thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929".

The creator Steven Knight has spoken about what is in store for our Tommy.

"It's the early '30s and it's the first stirrings of fascism and nationalism and populism and there's particular politicians that were happy to stir that up and make use of it and get votes from it."

He continued with:

"And Tommy has to face that and it's part of what I feel will hopefully, eventually, maybe be a rehabilitation of him because when he comes across that, how's he going to react? Is he going to go with it? Is he going to oppose it?"

Will you be tuning in?

Not only will I be watching it, but I will be desperately hoping for a Tom Hardy flashback.
