16 Creative Solutions To Problems You Didn't Even Know You Had

It drives me crazy to know that, even as a purveyor of life hacks and general shortcuts, there's no way I'll ever know them all.

There are elements of my daily routine that I could streamline and make easier, and I don't even know it.

All I can do is keep on searching for hacks.

1. When you really like pizza...

Reddit | Jigsaw8200

Everyone and their mother loves pizza, whether it's delivery or frozen, but modern fridges have fallen behind when it comes to incorporating pizza storage technology.

Fortunately, this forward-thinking fridge has seen the light and provides a perfect pizza shelf.

2. I want USB jacks everywhere.

Reddit | AnnaBroad

Since my life has turned into a situational comedy where I'm never able to find a power source for my various electronics, I find the idea of a paper towel dispenser with built-in USB very exciting indeed.

3. Here's how you get really clean.

Reddit | DarthReeder

Ultraviolet light basically highlights anything gross that remains even after it's been "cleaned". There's a reason crime scene analysts use these devices all the time. Now, you can dry your hands while also making sure they're actually clean.

4. WHY ARE ALL SOCKS NOT LIKE THIS.

Reddit | RogerDat143

Seriously! Wet, or even slightly damp socks are the bane of my existence. If I step in a puddle, it's pretty much enough to totally ruin my day. I had no idea waterproof socks were a thing, and I must have them.

5. Perfect for the hipster in your life.

Reddit | strychnine213

If you've got a long, luxuriant hipster 'stache, you could certainly do a lot worse than this old-timey mug with a built-in mustache guard.

6. The thinking person's TP roll.

Reddit | scd22

Alright, it's a presumably average roll of toilet paper...with a tiny, "on the go", travel roll of TP nestled within. Toilet paper technology has come such a long way.

7. Just go ahead and take my money.

Reddit | -Syriix-

I'm sure it isn't cheap, but I'm also sure that I don't care. I never realized I needed a Bluetooth-enabled lounge-equipped bed with bumpin' subwoofers.

8. When you take your RC piloting duties very seriously.

Reddit | Maxedmax

RC planes are a ton of fun, but it's lame when you're always taking off and landing from a field somewhere. Solution: a full-blown RC runway and airport.

9. Not sure? Just check the avocadometer.

Reddit | q0__0p

This isn't some crazy technology or anything, just a sticker that helps you judge ripeness. Simple, elegant, and timely, since my avocado ripeness detection skills are lacking.

10. Easier and (slightly) more hygienic.

Reddit | patdmbro

You're still not going to feel clean, exactly, when you lift up this toilet seat, but you'll feel a little more germ-free than you do with most seats.

11. It's all about the motivation.

Reddit | Dracogame

Calorie-burning counters are a great motivator on exercise equipment, so it's pretty cool to see something similar integrated into the real world. These stairs actually make me want to avoid the elevator.

12. Highlighter with a view.

Reddit | chillin_krillin

So long as it maintains its structural integrity, the tip of this highlighter is a game-changer since it allows you to actually see what you're highlighting, while you're highlighting it.

13. The sink that does it all.

Reddit | DidSantiagoSendYou

This sink has a sink (obviously), a soap dispenser, and a hand dryer all built into the same fixture. I especially like how it tells your hands that they're dry.

14. A simple solution to an age-old problem.

Reddit | Vivilacqua1

Here's one we should probably all practice, especially in homes where the underhand/overhand debate is especially fierce. Just have one of each. Simple.

15. This DDS provides you with TLC.

Reddit | luckymonkey12

Every dentist hands out floss, but how many of them hand out business cards equipped with an emergency floss ration? It's even a name brand. Thank you, Flosscard™.

16. The pizza lover's best friend.

Reddit | archimedes_principle

I love the idea of a miniature pizza cutter, because those things are handy. What I don't get is why you'd ever involve a fork in the pizza eating process.
