There are just some things you should never joke about — and the murder of a little girl is definitely one of them.
This is the reality singer Ariana Grande is currently facing, as she's being dragged online for her insensitive comments.
But that doesn't make her immune from making people mad sometimes.
The "Thank U, Next" singer made headlines when Ari and her ex-bf/backup dancer, Ricky Avarez appeared to lick donuts at a donut shop.
She ended up apologizing several times over the incident, including while on Good Morning America.
"My behavior was very offensive and I apologized."
When the donut shop employee brought over a tray of donuts, Ari gave a disgusted look and said, "What the [expletive] is that? I hate Americans. I hate America."
"I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American," she tweeted at the time.
She didn't exactly make things better when she explained that her comments were about the rising rates of child obesity in America.
The hashtag #WeForgiveYouAriana even began trending.
This time, for making a very unnecessary joke about JonBenét Ramsey.
Her case remains one of the world's most mysterious unsolved murders.
The whole controversy started when Doug Middlebrook, a friend of Ari's, posted a picture of JonBenét on the cover of a tabloid.
But even more strange was Ari's comment.
Say what now?
Um, not okay.
Ari's comments definitely crossed the line.
What WAS she thinking???
"this was out of pocket and i sincerly apologize."
Yikes.
I hope she did learn!
She's been busy promoting her new single "Boyfriend".
