Jason Momoa Finally Responded After Fans Criticized Him For Having A 'Dad Bod'

After Jason Momoa was body-shamed weeks ago for having a "dad bod," the actor is finally speaking out!

His reaction, which is sooo him, will make you love him even more.

Jason Momoa is known for a lot of things.

Being an amazing dad, making us bawl our eyes out on Game of Thrones, and always looking like a total snack.

Part of the reason why he's always in such good shape is because of the kind of roles he takes on.

For example, when he played Khal Drogo on "Game of Thrones".

He had to look the chiseled part of a leader warrior!

Then, the ante was upped even more when he landed the lead role of Aquaman.

To prepare for the role, Momoa had to train like a superhero.

He did so by using the Gym Jones method, which involves focusing on "functional strength."

This method of training isn't totally uncommon for stars.

Aquaman director, Zack Snyder, likes for all of his lead actors to train this way.

It's how Gerald Butler got ripped for 300 and how Henry Cavill got Superman-ready.

The end results were pretty jaw-dropping.

Helllooo, abs.

So when the actor was photographed months later without his ripped abs, the internet didn't handle it lightly.

The shirtless pics were taken while he was on a European vacay with his wife, Lisa Bonet, and their two kids.

Soon, the actor was criticized for having a "dad bod."

The body-shaming comments just kept on coming.

And I would just like to say, if this is a "dad bod" then SIGN. ME. UP.

I mean, how is this an insult?

"Someone needs to start lifting again..." another wrote.

Hello, dad bod. We'll take two, please.

Thankfully, a lot of people rushed in to defend the actor.

This person made a very good point about how a lot of actors can't sustain their superhero bods.

Seriously, nobody should feel bad for not looking like chiseled Momoa.

And I'm willing to bet that a lot of the negative commenters don't look like that sooo...

Now, after staying silent for weeks over the comments, Jason is finally speaking out.

When asked by TMZ about whether he was hurt by the body-shaming comments, he laughed the whole thing off.

"No," he said, "Not at all."

To make his point in a way that made us all love him even more, he patted his stomach.

He spoke briefly about the Guinness cake he recently enjoyed.

The Guinness cake was in reference to the surprise party recently thrown in his honor by his friends in London!

Even his former "Game of Thrones" co-star, Emilia Clarke, attended!

He ended the TMZ interview by saying, "Tell TMZ I'll show you my dad bod soon" before driving away.

So there you have it, folks!
