Rapping. Singing. Dancing. Fashion. Is there anything that Cardi B can't do? If you asked me that a year ago, I probably would've answered with "I don't know, politics, probably," but it turns out that even on that one I would be wrong.

Some people were a bit surprised to see Cardi endorsing... any politician at all really, especially one who has been a pretty controversial figure the past two election seasons.
Cardi has been getting very politically active since her star has risen to the top, and it's honestly refreshing to see someone trying to engage their huge fanbase into causes they care about.
Even back before she was scoring Met Gala invites and throwing shoes at Nicki Minaj, Cardi was telling people to vote for "Daddy Bernie."
Cardi also talked at length about her love for politics to GQ, citing Franklin Delano Roosevelt as her favorite president, saying, "He's the real 'Make America Great Again,' because if it wasn't for him, old people wouldn't even get Social Security."
Bernie famously tweeted that "Cardi B is right," a sentence that spawned a hundred memes.
Cardi spoke up about the federal workers strike, saying that the President shouldn't sign back to work legislation for workers who won't be paid for what they're doing.
Cardi retweeted this tweet with the comment "Leave me alone I will dog walk you." I'm not exactly sure what dog walking means in this context, but I definitely wouldn't want to find out from an angry Cardi B.
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez chimed in, calling women from the Bronx famous for their "clapback game."
When Bernie appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he revealed he had spoken to Cardi on the phone "on several occasions." He called Cardi "really smart" and mentioned how passionate she is about this country.
She wrote in the caption, "This makes me so happy ! I know my High school history teacher is so happy!"
"Believe it or not guys I was in advance placement in high school for Government and history it was a subject that I learn fast cause I naturally love it!" Cardi also emphasized how important it is for her that voters get to learn about their candidates.
Cardi posted on her Instagram this photograph of her sitting down with Bernie Sanders and teased an upcoming campaign video with the Senator.
"Thank you Senator Bernie Sanders for sitting with me and sharing your plans on how you will change this country."
"A couple of weeks ago I asked my followers if you had the opportunity to have a question answered by a democratic candidate what would it be ? I got a lot of submission and selected the most popular questions to get answered."
"Together, let’s build a movement of young people to transform this country. LETS LEARN OUR CANDIDATES!" Cardi finished.
