A Woman Came Up With The Most Genius Hack For Red Wine Stain Accidents

It's so much fun to get all done up and fancy for special events. This is especially true if you don't do it all that often. You might spend a couple months planning your outfit, hair, and makeup in anticipation and excitement.

But sometimes, unexpected and unanticipated wardrobe malfunctions happen, and no safety pins or travel stain removal pens can help the situation.

However, one woman got super creative when red wine was spilled all over her friend's all-white outfit, and it's pure genius if I ever did see it.

It can be so much fun to get dolled up for special occasions.

They can also make for a great Instagram-worthy photo opportunity to show off your planned outfit to your friends.

Mia Williamson and her friend Eleanor Walton definitely had an Instagrammable photo op for a completely different reason.

The two gals from the UK were all dolled up ready for the races.

Everything seemed to be going all fine and well until someone decided to accidentally spill red wine all over Eleanor's all-white outfit.

I swear wearing any form of white clothing is just like wearing a magnet for food and drink spillage.

This is definitely everyone's worst nightmare!

I don't think I would be smiling, and I truly commend Eleanor for remaining positive.

Usually, people might have a bit of a freak out (a.k.a me) if something like this happened.

I mean, you aren't even able to go home and get changed! What the heck do you do?!

Mia went into ultimate friend goals mode and came up with an absolute genius hack to deal with her friend's red-stained outfit.

And it doesn't involve actually trying to get rid of the wine.

They decided to grab some more wine and actually stain the whole outfit, making it look like a purposeful tie dye job.

It could totally pass as a legit design.

I'm not going to lie, it actually looks pretty good!

I love that mauve color.

Twitter users were in awe at this level of pure genius.

Mia's post received over 210K likes and over 20K retweets. That's pretty incredible.

People thought this was an absolutely genius hack that they will use should a similar situation ever happen to them.

I mean, the outfit is already stained — might as well finish the job!

Some Twitter users pointed out that the outfit is good enough to sell!

One person also pointed out that it looks similar to a pair of Pretty Little Things pants.

Some even requested tutorials!

I'm curious about the whole process, too. Tie dyeing can be risky business.

One Twitter user felt that this whole wardrobe malfunction was like the perfect scene from a movie.

It's honestly true!

Altogether, it took the ladies 4 glasses of wine to achieve this look.

People were wondering if Eleanor felt soggy after slipping the wine-soaked outfit back on, but she knew exactly what to do.

She dried most of it under a hand dryer.

The lesson here is that when life spills wine all over your white outfit, make a naturally dyed outfit out of more wine.

I think Eleanor just started an accidental trend!
