10+ Times Pics Proved Things Actually Did Happen

On those rare occasions when fortune has smiled upon you and graced you with seeing something should really be impossible, or at least so unlikely that it might as well be impossible, wouldn't you be glad you had a camera on hand? You just know it will make the story that much better later to have pics to back it all up.

The folks below know the drill.

This guy decided to try to grab a selfie as the Google Maps car drove past.

Reddit | FreshOrange

Not only did he get the selfie, but the pic of him taking the selfie showed up on Google Maps.

How many things have to go wrong for this to happen?

And what are the odds that two trucks would break down trying to tow away a broken down car?

No really, the dog did eat the homework.

And in this case, it's an entire class's homework. The tables have turned!

"Buddy of mine calls me to tell me he just rolled his jeep through a telephone pole," wrote the uploader. "I said pics or it didn't happen. He sent me this."

Reddit | jblaise13

Even better, the driver managed to walk away without a scratch. That's really the important part.

I'd like to see Robin Hood try that.

Putting an arrow through a balloon without popping it is a heck of a shot, whether it's done on purpose or not.

I would be taking a pic - from a distance - even if there was only one bear in a tree in my yard.

Reddit | chobgobbler

But an entire family of four parked on various points of the same tree is next level good luck. I think.

Not sure what this photographer walked into.

Four black cats taking up seats on the playground is as odd as it is a bit disturbing.

"The Missus saw a raccoon crossing the road this morning, so she slowed to let it pass," the uploader wrote. "Then she lost track of it. Here's where it ended up."

The hitchhiker was no worse for wear, thankfully, and went on its merry way with a little encouragement.

These restaurant owners figured out a way to summon Liam Neeson.

Reddit | frmacleod

Free food for him and him alone! Although I'm not sure I'd want a hangry Liam Neeson on my doorstep.

There's one to put on the wall.

There, on the right, is Johnny Depp, playing a gig at a wedding back in 1982, two years before his big screen debut.

The guy on top doesn't look familiar, but the guy pinned is...Chuck Norris?!

Reddit | LanaDelRayquaza

The internet has led me to believe this shouldn't be possible, so I'm assuming Chuck is keeping this guy safe from a passing meteor.

This guy just ensured that no one will ever be willing to plat Jenga with him again.

Reddit | Gravey9

He used every piece in the box and says that there is no glue used to stablize it.

Yes, that's a beer bottle sticking out of a wall.

Reddit | PremiumOxygen

Either someone decided it would be funny to stick the bottle in a hole that was already there or some serious black magic is happening.

Remember: don't drink and drive.

Reddit | jalogan1

This is funny because the neighbor ended up in their pool, but it would be a lot less funny if they hurt someone.

I think it might be a little bit cold.

Reddit | JTCMuehlenkamp

This is less serious than it seems, because it was an unheated cabin not currently in use. But when the owners realized it got colder than usual, they drove out to check on things, which was a good call.

The new neighbors came to say hello, but didn't even bring a casserole!

Reddit | alliegatorrr

These beavers really do look like that older couple on the block that stands on their porch looking concerned when the new Millennial neighbors move in next door.

This prank requires exactly the amount of hard labor that only drunk students can manage.

Reddit | Razorbackfan4

Who else would think it's funny to roll a giant snowball and leave it in the middle of a street?

Just getting some gas in a bright pink onesie.

Reddit | Razorbackfan4

I love how the guy is totally owning his fashion choices. More people should be willing to do that.

Somewhere, there's a dozen donuts missing a chocolate sprinkled one.

Reddit | FlecTec

Usually we see squirrels with nuts or maybe crumbs, but this guy got his hands on a full-sized donut.

Insert cartoon splat noise here.

Reddit | beefyfritosburrito

Is there any other explanation for this than a squirrel falling off the roof in the middle of the night.?

A little help from your friends.

Reddit | somedudefromks

You had to expect that a pic would be taken before the Kansas City firefighters helped the Kansas City cops out of the stuck elevator.

This gorilla can give it, but can't take it.

Imgur | snailsNwales

When the ape gave the visitor the finger, the visitor flipped the bird right back. The gorilla was shocked.

What could possibly go wrong?

Reddit | natezomby

Now, do the kid's parents know he's done this or did he come up with the idea himself and wait until he was unsupervised?

Points for impact, but negative points for the ick factor.

Reddit | Homamash

Besides the bare hand on a bathroom floor, the stream must be way too close to the face then it should ever be.

What are the odds?

Reddit | Lemon_Grenade_

I mean, they missed the dumpster, but instead of hitting the ground, the straw got caught on the hinge.

A suddenly cracking window is bad in a car; it's terrifying in a plane.

Reddit | AviatorDave

Luckily, these things are made with safety in mind, so there was time to safely (if somewhat blindly) land.

Don't try this at home.

Reddit | drewkipow80

The reason given for this was that he likes climbing things and his friend is a photographer.

When you're skipping stones with your daughter and some guy just picks up a goose and walks away.

Reddit | MrRafikki

Apparently, the guy actually raised the geese from chicks, so they know him.

The timing of this shot really makes the kid's arm look wrong.

I mean, if you have the camera in your other hand, you may as well try for a pic.

Imgur | drewkipow80

The fact that the photo is all torn up kind of adds to the effect of it being the very moment the tiger bit down.

Kids do some really stupid things.

Reddit | 2Thebreezes

Like crawling into a bear cave to see the hibernating bears, only to discover they weren't asleep. The kids escaped with a few pics and a broken nose.

Man and cheese...

Reddit | Razorbackfan4

A school actually tried to get away with serving this. Just no.

Cops: Australia Edition.

Reddit | warbAU

Yes, that's a police car following a pair of sauntering emus. Somehow, this seems tame for an Australian morning commute.

Cause of power outage? Beavers.

Reddit | SaskPower

This is the actual cause of an outage a couple of years ago in Saskatchewan.

And this I have no explanation for.

Reddit | tnethacker

But there's definitely a car on that balcony. Somehow, some way, it's there.
