Survey Finds Most Parents Want Summer Vacation To End After Only 13 Days And No One Is Surprised

Remember when summer was the best time of the year? No school, living on a diet of popsicles, sleeping in until noon... those were the days.

Unfortunately, things change when you're a parent. Don't get me wrong — summer is still awesome. But a new survey has found that a lot of parents are actually stressed out about this season.

Ah, summer. Is there anything better?

For kids, it means two months of fun in the sun. For parents, that's not always the case.

For a lot of parents, summer vacataion brings a lot of disruption to their daily routine.

Many working parents need to find and pay for childcare during the summer months. Others have to deal with hearing, "I'm bored" all day every day while they stay home with the kids.

A new survey conducted by Groupon has confirmed that parents are fed up with summer — even though it's only been 13 days.

The survey polled 2,000 parents and found that 58% of those polled found summer stressful because of the added demand of keeping their kids busy.
