6+ Important Things To Know About The Jenelle Evans And David Eason Drama

This story just keeps getting weirder and weirder.

In April, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans shared some heartbreaking news: her husband, David Eason, had allegedly shot and killed their 2 year-old dog.

And that's just the beginning of the story.

Jenelle rose to fame after appearing on "Teen Mom 2"

They announced they were expecting a child together in 2016.

The birth of Ensley Jolie Eason rounded out their family to 5 — they both had two children from previous relationships.

Ensley is very important to this story.

She married David Eason in 2017.

They married in September 2017, and drama started not long after.

Firstly, MTV stopped filming Teen Mom 2 with them after tweets documenting David's homophobia emerged.

Jenelle confirmed that he stands by his tweets, and doesn't want gay kids.

Wow.

A 911 call took things to the next, confusing level.

In October 2018, Jenelle called police and claimed that David has assaulted her, snapping her collarbone.

Hours later, she claimed the entire thing was a "drunk and dramatic misunderstanding," and that they were doing "great."

The dog incident happened in 2019.

A call was made to police saying that David had allegedly shot and killed Jenelle's dog, Nugget.

Police did not say who the caller was, but reports said that the caller claimed the dog bit their daughter, Ensley, in the face.

David took to Instagram to defend himself.

In a now-deleted post, he wrote:

"I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face... whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that [expletive] at all"

He just kept admitting it.

He continued, "You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME."

It is unclear if David owns a dictionary.

They were fired from "Teen Mom 2."

Even though MTV had already cut ties, Jenelle was still participating in Teen Mom 2 in a limited capacity.

MTV fired her completely after the shooting and said they did not plan on featuring her story in the new season.

They lost custody of their kids.

After they passed one welfare check requested by the mother of David's son, Jace, things seemed to settle down.

However, in late May, a judge ruled that custody was to be removed from the parents for all three of their children.

They regained custody of their kids in July.

Jenelle said that she called 911 on her mother, Barbara, who had Ensley staying with her.

She claimed their son, Jace, told her that Barbara had locked Ensley in a bedroom.

Custody was rewarded back to Jenelle and David.

Jenelle's inconsistent account of the dog incident raised questions.

She first claimed she heard the gunshot while inside the house, then claimed she heard nothing at all after David threw the dog outside.

"She advised that she never heard or saw anything to indicate that David shot her dog," a police statement read.

The police statement is pretty damning.

Not only did they find no blood to indicate the dog's murder, but Jenelle herself halted the investigation.

"Jenelle advised that she did not want the Columbus County Sheriff's Office or the District Attorney's Office to continue with the investigation." The statement continued.

Where...is that dog...

The police said: "Jenelle advised that 'she don't know where the dog is. She also advised that 'I don't know if she was shot or killed or not.'"

Um...so, is the dog alive?

Here's the kicker! Prepare to get mad!

"Jenelle stated that the reason she filed the animal cruelty report was for the publicity and because she did not know where her dog was." The statement finished.

Oh. Okay.

At this time, it looks like she won't be charged.

Despite the police claiming that her report was false, she won't be charged for filing a false police report.

I don't know why she said they were lying about this part of the story on Twitter. Does she want people to think she's being charged?

Jenelle denied the report.

Calling the police "crooked AF," she took to Twitter to respond to the articles claiming that she made up the story.

Her story will be published soon? Where, a monetized YouTube video, by any chance?
