It's been a rough week for Meghan Markle.

After all the drama she went through at Wimbledon, the new mom is now being criticized for the "awkward" way she held baby Archie at a recent polo event.

Ugh. Will the mommy shaming ever end, people?

Royal moms just want to have fun!

In the photographs snapped at the event, Meghan looked relaxed in a look that seems to be inspired by her California roots.

She had on a green khaki v-neck dress and aviator sunglasses.

But now, people are saying she looked too relaxed while holding baby Archie.

Some of the complaints were about Archie's bare head and dangling feet.

This new scandal comes just days after Meghan was the subject of intense media scrutiny.

While at Wimbledon, she made headlines for asking fans not to take her picture.

And then, for — gasp — wearing jeans to the match.

Really, people?

Since media outlets began sharing images of Meghan and Archie from the polo match, mommy shamers have come out full-force.

"Meghan doesn't know how to carry her own baby! Such a shame," one person commented on Instagram.

Another wrote: "The way little Archie is being held. Scary."

One person even criticized Meghan for not protecting Archie's head with a hat.

Someone on Twitter even accused Meghan of using Archie as a "prop."

"When the Nanny lets you hold your 2 month old baby for the first time," someone else tweeted.

Thankfully, there's also been a lot of support from people rushing in to defend the new mom.

"She could be a natural at home but she's probably trying to shelter from the cameras and the judgment," someone commented.

"I'm guessing no one can see it from that point of view since you are all perfect parents," wrote another.

AMEN!

Another took on the mommy shamers by pointing out the obvious: that she's a new mom.

"We've all held our [sic] babies awkwardly," she added.

Also, it's literally no one's business how Meghan holds her child that she OBVIOUSLY LOVES AND WANTS TO PROTECT.

Imagine judging a new mom? Trash.

This isn't even the first time Meghan has been criticized over her baby.

Even when she was pregnant, people had a problem with her "cupping" her belly often.

Which is... insane?

She's growing an actual human in her belly so she's allowed to ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, YA KNOW?

Load Comments

They viewed Meghan as just "showing off" her pregnancy.

It's HER body, people.

Despite it annoying most of the internet, there was a reason behind why she was doing it.

Katherine Graves, the founder of KG Hypnobirthing, spoke to the Daily Mail about how it's called a common practice for expecting mothers called "cradling."

Now, in this new mommy shaming scandal, we're so glad that parenting experts have weighed in.

They said that there's nothing wrong with how she held Archie.

Load Comments

"She is supporting the majority of Archie's body with her right arm while he rests his head on her chest. Babies are comforted by this position and hearing mom's heartbeat too. So long as the face is to one side, which Archie's is, this is a wonderfully soothing way to hold to a baby.”

Take that, Mommy shamers!
