Everything That 'The Big Bang Theory' Cast Is Up To Now

Now that The Big Bang Theory is almost over, it's time for all of us to look to the horizon and try to move towards it... at least that's what the actors are doing.

The Big Bang Theory...

CBS

A show that has guided us through life for a while now.

The laughs, the downs, the ups, the big bangs (that came out wrong) all of it has been so important.

So pour one out...

CBS

And say one last "Bazinga".

However, all is not lost, friends. While the characters in the show might be gone, the actors will live on, do other, cooler stuff.

Which is what we're here to explore today

CBS

So strap on your exploring boots, then grab your backpack and your monkey.

We're going to take a look at what life after TBBT is going to resemble... for the actors and us.

Kaley Cuoco

CBS

Ahhh, Kaley.

When she wasn't playing a dumb blonde in The Big Bang Theory she was playing a dumb blonde in 8 Simple Rules and a pretty smart telekinetic blonde in Charmed.

Kaley, obviously, is going to miss the show.

CBS

The 33-year-old actress told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year:

“It’s the greatest role I’ll ever play in my whole life. This character has changed my life, and this show has changed my life.”

So where is she off too now?

DC Universe

Well, she'll be doing some voice work as a smart blonde.

She'll be playing Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, MD aka Harley Quinn in a new DC Animated Tv show.

Also, she's got a husband.

CBS

It's been a year now, and we can only assume they're going to live happily ever after.

Apparently, they live to save rabbits together? What an adorable little couple, I hope it all works out.

Johnny Galecki.

CBS

The suspiciously suave man who played Leonard is also moving on with his life and his career.

No sir, you won't see this modern day James Bond play any more nerds in the future.

He also had a couple words about his role.

CBS

Once again, talking to Entertainment Weekly, the 44-year-old had this to say about being Leonard:

“These characters stay in you, whether you want them to or not. When it comes to Leonard, I’m very happy about that.”

He's got a bunch of things going on.

CBS

He's on the Roseanne spinoff called The Conners where he plays a character named David, and also he's working on a series where he's a producer.

Oh wow, a very busy man.

But also...

CBS

He's preparing to be a father.

He told People Magazine about a month ago that he and his girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, were expecting a child. Good for them, I hope everything works out.

Jim Parsons

CBS

And finally, the big Kahuna. The Great Bazingbino. The Sultan of Science. The Colossus of... uh... you know what, nevermind. Let's take a look at what's happening in Sheldon's life.

The Colossus of Chemistry! Boom nailed it.

Luckily for us...

CBS

We can still enjoy Sheldon even after the show has wrapped.

At least, we can enjoy his voice as he narrates the hit TV Show and Big Bang Theory prequel Young Sheldon.

And when he's not doing that...

CBS

He'll keep doing movies as he has been.

He was in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile and he's going to be in a new movie called Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies.

Let's end on the words of Parsons himself...

CBS

Back in August, Jim put a post on Instagram that went like this:

“It is hard (nearly impossible, actually) to really accept that this is a picture of the first of the final 24 episodes we will shoot for The Big Bang Theory,” Parsons wrote. “I feel very fortunate that we have another 23 episodes to shoot this season because I am hopeful that with each and everyone, my level of REALLY accepting this fact will sink in.”
