Bill Cosby Called Himself 'America's Dad' And Twitter Is Furious

I'd like us to all hold hands and recall this past Father's Day. I know it was a whole three days ago, but please bare with me because a lot happened this past Fathers Day, and it's hard to keep track of all the craziness!

For example, Caitlyn Jenner shaded Tristan Thompson by excluding him from her Father's Day Instagram post.

She listed Kanye, Travis and Scott but NOT Tristan Thompson. To be fair, this move was incredibly iconic.

However after this subtle shade, the celeb drama got really distasteful. Take O.J. Simpson addressing the rumor he was Khloé Kardashian's father in a bizarre Twitter video on Father's Day.

You can read the full story about this INSANE video here — and trust me you'll want to because truly... WHAT??

Keeping with the trend of jaw dropping Father's Day moments, Bill Cosby tweeted out some true delusion and insanity.

"Hey, Hey, Hey...It’s America’s Dad..." Cosby wrote.

He continued, "I know it’s late, but to all of the Dads... It’s an honor to be called a Father, so let’s make today a renewed oath to fulfilling our purpose —strengthening our families and communities."

He then hashtagged #HappyFathersDay and #RenewedOathToOurFamily.

Bill Cosby is, of course, serving jail time after being found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault this past September.

Cosby could spend anywhere from three to ten years in prison.

Needless to say, Twitter was blown away that a convicted sex offender could claim they were "America's dad" and had no issues airing their grievances with Cosby on social media.

People were confused as to how he had Twitter access while behind bars.

Some believe it's Cosby's wife Camille tweeting from her husbands account.

However, TMZ confirmed the tweet came from Cosby himself.

Twitter users couldn't help but point to the extreme amounts of hypocrisy in the tweet.

Thankfully, it seemed the overwhelming response to the tweet was dissatisfaction and disappointment that he was even able to access his Twitter account.
