'Dog The Bounty Hunter' Star Beth Chapman Shares A Makeup-Free Selfie One Month After Rejecting Chemo Treatments

Beth Chapman, star of Dog The Bounty Hunter isn't letting cancer get her down.

Last week, the 51-year-old TV star embraced her natural beauty by sharing a rare makeup-free selfie.

Sadly, this isn't Beth's first time dealing with cancer.

The TV star was first diagnosed with Stage Two throat cancer in 2017.

After undergoing surgery, she got the good news that she was cancer-free.

However in 2018, she was back in the hospital again.

Beth was rushed to the hospital in November 2018 to clear a blockage in her throat that prevented her from breathing.

She had to undergo surgery.

When it was over, Beth posted an Instagram photo of her and her husband in a hospital bed with the caption, "Another Bend in the Road, yet not the End of the Road."

Unfortunately, it was later revealed that the cancer came back.

This time as Stage 4 lung cancer.

In January of this year, Beth began chemotherapy treatments.

In an Instagram post, Beth seemed to hint that she wasn't a fan of the side effects that come with chemotherapy.

In the caption of her selfie, it included the hashtags, "#cancersucks" and "#itsonlyhair."

She spoke openly about how her cancer treatments had been going so far.

“Chemotherapy is not my bag, people,” she said during a speech to churchgoers in Florida.

By the time spring rolled around, Beth decided she was done with chemotherapy.

The Pooch Times reports that on Mother’s Day, she delivered a speech at the Source Church in Bradenton, Florida

In the speech, she also revealed that she was choosing faith over chemotherapy.

She went on to call cancer the "ultimate test of faith."

Beth also refused to put the blame on God or anyone else.

"I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?’" she said.

Thankfully, her hubbie, Duane "Dog," has been by her side during this difficult time.

The two have been married since 2006 and have three kids together, one of which is adopted.

Beth and Dog's new show, 'Dog's Most Wanted' even touches on her battle with cancer.

In a teaser trailer that was released for the show, a heartfelt moment was shared.

It was of Dog giving his wife a sweet kiss as she laid in a hospital bed.

The trailer also showed Dog giving criminals a serious message.

Dog means business.

"My wife, the love of my life is fighting for her life and instead of being at home helping her, I’m out here looking for you," he warns in the teaser trailer.

While many fans were against the idea of a new show while Beth fights cancer, Dog said he's doing it for her.

"She has told me repeatedly that if these are her last days on earth, she wants to spend every moment with me on the hunt." Dog told the Daily Mail.

Recently, the pair travelled to Hawaii for a much-needed vacation.

While there, the star posted a selfie of her looking happy, relaxed and, most of all: makeup-free!

She captioned the photo "No make up & Morning Hair. The beach no care!"

The beach no care, indeed.

Comments poured in over how gorgeous she looked without makeup.

"Dear Beth, you do not need makeup or styled hair because you are beautiful by nature. we pray for you," one user wrote.

Some people believed that her "no makeup" statement was a lie.

Another person asked, "Have you had it tattooed on? Eyeshadow is [visible] and mascara. Sorry but I can see it."

Before deleting their tweet, they explained that they didn't mean any offense.

Luckily, Beth took the question in the way it was intended.

"Whatever you see is so yesterday lol" she said.

Her hubbie also commented on the pic.
