Kate Middleton Had The Sweetest Response After A Child Asked Why She Wasn't Dressed As Elsa

Kate Middleton is a real-life angel. Don't @ me.

While visiting Cumbria, a young fan asked Kate why she wasn't dressed as "Elsa" from Frozen, and her answer was perfect.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William were visiting Cumbria on Tuesday.

Kate described the area as a place where she and her family “boulder hopping” while vacationing at the nearby lake district.

She arrived wearing a Troy London UK Tracker jacket over a “pie crust” shirt.

Overall, she was dressed down from the typical royal attire we're used to seeing from her and the rest of the family.

But nonetheless, she looked stunning as always.

Kate could wear a potato sack and still look like royalty, let's be honest.

Anyway, the pair set out to meet with the crowd of fans that were there to greet them.

The royal couple weren't there to vacation, however.

According to their Instagram page, the pair were visiting Cumbria to team up with the Cumbria Wildlife Trust for an "environmental educational session."

One part of the area, The Lake District, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

With so many people visiting the area every year, conservation of wildlife and the land and is vital.

When they arrived, they greeted a crowd of adoring fans.

Dogs are fans of the royal couple, too!

This picture is everything I've ever wanted to see.

They also met with students from a local school Patterdale School.

I'm sure all of these students were just over the moon to meet the royal family! I'm pretty jealous.

While they were visiting the countryside, they were approached by two young girls — sisters.

The girls timidly handed flowers to Kate.

Kate admired the girl's braids — admitting she tried to braid her daughter, Charlotte's hair earlier that day, but it didn't quite work out.

"I love your plaits. They're so pretty," she told one of the girls.

"I tried to do a plait on Charlotte this morning but it didn't really work very well," she explained.

She carried on, making small talk with the girls — asking them how old they were, and thanking them for the flowers.

The sisters were shy as Kate thanked them asked them questions.

But their father, who was standing nearby, assured Kate that they were both big fans of her's.

“It’s a princess. You love princesses!," the father said as one of the girls shook hands with Kate.

He then told Kate that his daughters had expected her to be dressed more like "Elsa" from Frozen.

“She wanted to know if you’d be wearing your Princess Elsa dress,” he told Kate.

“I know. I’m sorry,” she quickly responded back, apologizing to the girls for being a tad dressed down.

“I came in my trousers and my coat because I’m going to see some sheep.”

"We've come to see your farm," she added — trying to make conversation with the girls to get them out of their shells.

Kate single-handedly proved that not all princesses wear gowns!

Especially not while they're visiting the countryside on a damp afternoon — spending time in the grass around barn-yard animals.

Modern day princesses aren't afraid to get their hands dirty!

Although Kate wasn't dressed up like a "Frozen" character on this particular occasion, she has done it before.

In November, Kate channeled her inner "Elsa" with this dress, covered in crystals.

After parting ways with the girls, the couple then walked through the Market Square, shaking hands and chatting with other fans.

Then, they headed off to do what Kate had mentioned earlier — shearing some sheep.

The pair headed off to a traditional mountain sheep farm, where they met with farmers to hear some of the challenges they have recently been facing

As farming and agriculture are a challenge in the UK due to the terrain.

Well, there you have it! Kate is the sweetest lady of all time.

Not only did she probably make those little girl's lives, but she also helped out some farmers, and defied Disney princess stereotypes.
