Someone Stole This Guy's Paid Parking Spot For Weeks, But His Revenge Was Pure Gold

Which is not to say that it's always done on purpose. When we're in a rush, we often do things without thinking them through.

But when it happens over and over again? That's not a mistake. That's intentional.

And when Reddit user Goalnado noticed a pattern of someone parking badly that affected him personally, well, you better believe he didn't take it sitting down.

He got himself some epic, epic revenge.

As he pointed out, he paid for that spot, and he's in and out all day, every day, so he needs the use of it.

Then, "about 7 weeks ago an unknown vehicle started appearing in the car-park. Every day. Always in MY SPACE." Not good.

Now, Goalnado's first attempt at parking justice didn't quite take.

"I immediately started leaving my car just behind the anonymous vehicle, blocking him into the space," he wrote. But apparently he left earlier than the other vehicle, and he never ran into the owner or was asked to move his car.

He did leave multiple notes asking the owner to phone him, however, so you can't say he didn't give the owner a chance.

But he never got a call, and often found the notes crumpled up on the ground.

Ten days of losing a spot he was paying for added up, and Goalnado started to dream of his revenge.

"I contemplated phoning the parking company, who would have come and issued the person a ticket, but I didn't think that was a strong enough response," he wrote.

Instead, he formulated a plan involving a co-worker going on leave for two weeks and using his brother's car while he was out of the country.

And oh my, did it add up to something special. Do NOT take this guy's spot, folks.

So on a Friday night, he used his brother's ride to block the guy in, notified the parking company that his brother's car was legit, then on Monday he parked his own car in his co-worker's spot.

"Sure enough, as I arrive on Monday, I find an extremely irate, sweaty man screaming at the parking enforcement officer for issuing him a ticket."

Obviously the guy couldn't move his car because he was blocked in, but the car blocking him in was permitted to be there.

And because he was parked illegally in the first place, he had to pay the £100 ticket. "At this point, I am crying with laughter and really struggled to hold it together when they asked if I knew who owned my brothers car. Sadly, I didn’t."

The next day, the guy was back screaming at another parking enforcement officer after getting another £100 ticket. You can guess where this is going.

"The car remained there for a month, and the parking official turned up at least 18 more times, meaning he had a minimum fine of about £2000."

"The man was in our office on a daily basis asking if we had seen the owner, and he made sure to let us know that he would ‘f*** them up’ once he found out who it was."

"Everyone in both offices knew exactly what was going on, so it was real struggle not to laugh in his shit little face when he came in begging for news on the owner."

How committed to revenge was Goalnado? Very.

"In a truly vindictive move, even after my colleague returned from paternity leave, I continued to leave my brother's car there and parked my car a 10 minute walk away just to ensure this f***er got what he deserved. I didn’t care that it inconvenienced me, I just wanted retribution."

After his brother finally got back from his trip, they moved the car. On Monday morning, the other car was nowhere to be seen.

"It's now Thursday and it hasn't been seen since, so maybe he's learned his lesson."

Clearly the folks on Reddit approved, for the most part.
