Instagram Model Claps Back At Body Shamers Who Think She Looks Pregnant

The internet is quick to jump on those who don't meet the odd specifications of ideal beauty standards.

With summer rearing her lovely head any day now, our feeds are about to be swarmed with hundreds of sources telling us what to do and not do in order to ensure that we have the "perfect beach body."

But...isn't every body on a beach a "beach body?"

You would be correct! All you gotta do is get that body on a beach and, BOOM! BEACH BODY!

Social rules that dictate who can and can't show skin based on whether they look like a Kardashian or not are, dare I say, a little dumb?

The beach is not a fitness competition. You do not have to earn the right to enjoy your summer by looking a certain way.

This Instagram model knows too well what it's like to be in the public eye.

29-year-old Australian model Chloe Morello has garnered a large following as an online influencer and skincare representative for various companies.

29-year-old Australian model Chloe Morello has garnered a large following as an online influencer and skincare representative for various companies.

Your looks shouldn't have anything to do with your job, but what happens when your looks are your job?

She has 1.1 Million followers and is amassing more each day.

Morello is also a sponsered representative for Lancome, one of the biggest makeup and skincare companies in the world.

Though most celebrities have an "image" associated with her brand, Morello's brand hinges on her literal physical image. In order to sell these products, she has to prove that they work.

She recently came under fire while on vacation.

While in Cabo, Mexico, Morello posted a picture of herself in a bikini on the beach. It was not a specific sponsored picture for any particular company, though as an online influencer, she is likely paid directly through Instagram for posts like these.

Immediately, hate comments poured in.

The majority of the comments were in regards to the size of Morello's stomach, which commenters pointed out "made her look pregnant."

"Two words of advice; salad bar," one user tweeted, while others flooded the photo with comments like "Boy or girl," and, "I hope it's a girl."

Others came to the models defense, claiming that she was as toned as she possibly could be.

"Very beautiful woman! Enjoy your vacation and ignore the idiots!" one user wrote.

Another person commented: "Sexy as hell!! Don't listen to the haters Chloe, there probably a bunch of overweight Cheeto eating fools!!"

The internet can be a great place to share content and support one another.

But clearly, it can also be a cruel place where strangers feel they can get behind a computer and be hateful for absolutely no reason.

Finally, Chloe decided to address the photo hate herself.

"Clearly not? Wtf?" she said in response to a comment that she was pregnant, "It's really, really rude and unacceptable to ask that to someone! Don't do it again as it can really upset people for so many reasons."

Regardless of Morello's size, those kinds of comments are unwarranted.

The obvious confusion comes from the fact that the model is ridiculously fit looking, but you know what? Even if she wasn't, she would have just as much of a right to post a bikini picture as anyone else. Let's stop shamming people for having normal human bodies, okay?
