Next to spaghetti, tacos are the worst food try and eat while you're driving a car. They're messy when you're just sitting at a table; they're a straight up disaster when you're trying to eat one in a moving vehicle.
Hard shell tacos in particular are definitely not ideal for on-the-go consumption. The first bite somehow destroys the structural integrity of the entire shell and suddenly you're left with a lap full of broken tortilla bits and broken dreams. And lots of taco filling.
Not every genius is out there looking through a microscope in a laboratory, guys. Some geniuses are sitting in cars holding tacos and realizing one fits perfectly inside the sunglasses console.
Consider the fast food game officially changed because this means you can enjoy your taco on the go without having to sacrifice your pants or your precious taco.
One user pointed out that closing the console turns that taco holder into a nacho holder which, while definitely true, seems like a step backwards to me.
But live your dreams.
Look at that picture of the taco holder and tell me the lights on the roof don't make that car look absolutely shook to discover it can hold a taco in its mouth.
Sometimes we surprise ourselves.
Finally, no more having to keep your precious nuggets on the passenger seat inside the bag. Now you can actually see your golden nuggets while you eat them, the way they were intended to be enjoyed.
While this one isn't so much a hack as it is a purchase, we still have to applaud the person who recognized that eating fries in a car is also no easy task. Thanks to the fry cup Fries on the Fly, you'll never have to worry about dumping your precious snack all over the floor again.
As long as people keep coming up with these fantastic food hacks, we can spend more and more time eating in our cars where we can wolf down our shameful, greasy fast food in privacy. And that's really all we've ever wanted.
