Big Fish is a wacky little romp with Ewan McGregor.

It's surreal, it's funny, it's charming and it's a definite movie to watch on a casual date night. Especially if your date is artsy.

This remake/retelling of the 1981 classic is loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus.

It's action-packed, full of sweet ancient Greek violence, terrifying monsters, and Liam Neeson as Zeus! How could you go wrong?

A lot of people gave Cop Out a hard time, much to the dismay of director Kevin Smith.

However, I have a soft spot in my heart for Kevin Smith movies, especially this plucky little flick.

This 2018 dramedy about a 17-year-old boy and his burgeoning homosexuality is a touching, sometimes charming, sometimes heartbreaking movie with a lot of ups and downs.

If you want a good coming of age flick, look no further than Love, Simon.

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Pacific Rim this movie is just more giant robots fighting against giant monsters.

Do I really need to say any more?

William H. Macy directs this film for both men and women. Women will get a kick out of the humor, it's funny, it's quick and it's clever.

Men will... well, there are a lot of scenes where Kate Upton and Alexandra Daddario try to one-up each other on the sexy scale.

Oh, would you look at that, Alexandra Daddario again. Not in as many adult situations as in The Layover, but she does play the kick-butt daughter of Athena.

Oh, and the movie is pretty cool too.

This is probably my favorite movie on the list. "7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea."

If you haven't seen it, just watch it.

This sweet... remake of a movie about a video game really captures the spirit of Lara Croft and her Tomb Raids.

When I saw the name of this movie, I had to Google it real quick. Then I said "oh yeah, I remember this [flipping] movie".

It's a cool spin on a heist movie, with teens stealing SAT questions. Also, it has ScarJo. And Captain America!

If it's spooky you're after, look no further than this sequel to a spin-off to a movie that was based on a true story.

Jeez, this story's lineage is almost as scary as it's doll!
