Makeup Vloggers Are Washing Their Beauty Blenders In Mini Washing Machines

It seems there's always some new product or gadget to talk about in the world of beauty these days.

Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes something else to completely blow your mind.

Makeup trends are definitely leaning on the kookier side lately.

From oreo eyebrows to making yourself look like a Disney Villain, there's really no telling what's going to come next in today's beauty world.

There was even that whole thing with people buying makeup fridges.

Storing your skincare products in their own personal mini-fridge is peak levels of being extra AF.

I'm not afraid to admit that I am at this peak.

While most makeup brush cleaners look a little something like this.

Amazon

Electric brush cleaners like this one from Amazon have become pretty popular over the past couple of years.

Now a handful of YouTubers are deciding to use something a little more domesticated.

Mini washing machines have to be the cutest little beauty gadgets I've ever seen.

They come in an adorable Barbie pink shade and are small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.

Here's how they work.

In Tiffany's Instagram video you can see that the brushes are cleaned by placing the sponge in the machine while it's full of soapy water.

After pressing the power button, you can see the sponge begin to spin around inside the washer and create a lather.

Afterwards, you use a tiny hose attached to the washer to drain the water and repeat until clean.

If you want to take one for a spin it won't cost you much.

Amazon

The adorable little machines are sold on Amazon for less than $10.

Considering how expensive most beauty gadgets can be, I would say this is a STEAL.

But is it even worth it?

It's kind of hard to say. They're honestly so cute and I feel like I want one but the reviews haven't been the greatest.

While they do appear to eventually get your sponges clean, some vloggers complained about the mess the machine created and the product's overall effectiveness.

YouTuber Itzel Vasquez said, "[Are they] impressive? Uh kinda. Do you need it? No, not really."

Tiffany also pointed out that the washer is just a toy that's being marketed as a brush cleaner so don't expect to achieve perfect results.
