People Are Going All Out For Game Of Thrones Day In The Best Way

It's finally here! The final season of Game of Thrones!

Besides being the biggest show on television, the wait has been extra hard as winter finally came to Westeros and the show had to change filming schedules the last couple of seasons so that there would be snow on the ground.

But the wait was worth it and you would think it's Superbowl Sunday with the way people are going all out to celebrate.

Some people are simply sharing their excitement on social media.

Though the day dawned with a Facebook and Instagram outage, that didn't stop people on Twitter from celebrating Game of Thrones Day.

Those in the Illinois area don't need to decorate.

Because for Game of Thrones Day, #WinterIsHere and it's snowing in April. Both appropriate and totally not cool, Mr. Weatherman!

Smart businesses are making sure to have special goodies for the day.

The "blood" on these themed cupcakes is incredible. I can't stop giggling at it. The only thing that would make these better is if the bakery got their hands on some of the official GoT Oreos.

Some people got the party started early by celebrating 'GoT' Eve!

Personally, I'd sleep in if I could. Bank some extra time to make up for how incredibly late I'll probably stay up reading reactions after the episode airs.

I need to see these Funko Pops recreate the whole season.

Because a) they're adorable and b) Dany's going to kick the Night King's ass this season. She has to, right?

This person made her own Iron Throne for the occasion!

It looks like she used a basic patio chair for the base, which is pretty genius! Looks great!

Others are decorating their homes for the premiere.

It's unclear whether this is just for a premiere night party or if they plan to display the banners for the entire run of the season.

I love this little banner of house banners.

I feel like the mantle could totally rock this for a couple of months without question. Bonus points for more adorable Funko Pops.

This person is marking the occasion with a throwback to an epic birthday cake.

Sorry "Name Day Cake." I'm not surprised to learn that it was red velvet. What other flavor is more fitting for such a bloody show?

And if your birthday happens to actually fall on 'Game of Thrones' Day, you have to go all out!

That Iron Throne on top is incredible. Serious kudos to the cake artist for this, because I do some cake decorating a know how much time and skill is involved. Bravo!

A very important reminder.

While I know it's hard to hold back excitement and I'm a firm believer in spoiler-phobes being responsible for not going to places they know may contain them, it's still important to remember that not everyone can watch live.

Personally, I'd just avoid blatant spoilers in the first 48 hours. Maybe bury the details in a thread.
