'The Crown' Officially Casts Emma Corwin To Play Princess Diana
"The Crown" has been capturiing our hearts since 2016.
It follows the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, which means we're slowly being introduced to the most familiar members of the royal family.
Even though the third season is still to come, we learned that the role of Princess Diana has been filled.

Emma Corrin has been chosen for the part, and we'll see her take it on in the show's fourth season.
Emma has been watching the show from the very start, so being cast in such a major role must be a dream come true.
"Princess Diana was an icon and her effect on the world remains profound and inspiring," she wrote.
There are definitely similarities between the two.

Her chin seems to a bit different from Diana's, but those eyes are pretty nearly spot-on!
It would be next to impossible to cast the "perfect" actress for this role.
After all, these are some pretty big shoes to fill.
