I'm pretty sure the whole world knows by now that the final season of Game of Thrones is about to air.
In preparation for the big premiere, the cast has been attending a lot of promotional appearances. Most recently, Kit Harrington appeared on SNL looking a bit different.
People have been crushing on Kit Harrington's broody, heroic and bold portrayal of the character for years now.
I mean sure, he's grown up.
But he's also kept his long hair and beard — which only makes sense.
When is the King of the North going to find time to shave in between fending off the white walkers?
He had shaved his facial hair off, and it caught a lot of viewers by surprise.
There was a bit where his wife, Rose Leslie, made a comment about growing it back.
For those who didn't know, Rose played Ygritte in the series.
They felt that he looked creepy, and I mean, it's hard to argue with the truth.
It's always weird seeing one of your favorite actors out of character.
But it's not like he was going to show up wearing a fur cloak and wielding a sword.
Not to mention the unexpected cameos that popped out of nowhere!
