Thanks to social media, more moms are getting real when it comes to sharing all aspects of postpartum life online. It's no different for celebs, either.
Recently, new mom Jessica Simpson posted a photo of pumped breast milk in a bottle. While many praised her the photo, some were not happy, leading to a heated debate about the post.

We know that breastfeeding and pumping milk is difficult and doesn't work out for each mom. Some jokingly commented that they were jealous with Jess' ability to pump so much.

It's true that more breastfeeding moms are sharing their journeys on social media, but I don't think this photo was some sort of elaborate hoax.
The post wasn't trying to say that breastfeeding is better than forumla feeding. Jess was just sharing a cheeky postpartum update with her fans.
Breast milk or formula, it doesn't matter. It's a decision that is personal to each family and should be respected either way.
