Disney And Starbucks Now Have A Collection Of Retro Mugs And Here's How To Get Them

When I was a kid, my parents were crafty enough to know that if we really wanted to get the most out of Disney World, we had to go during the off-season. So on one fine November when I was seven, we all went.

Not only were the temperatures much more reasonable than during the scorching summers, but the lines only took about 20 minutes to get through at worst. On some occasions, there were no lines at all.

This meant that not only did I get to see everything the park had to offer in one magical vacation, but I even did my favorite rides more than once.

And so, if Disney's new collection of retro mugs were around back then, I'd already have most of them.

Disney has recently teamed up with Starbucks to put a collection of mugs together that invoke the company's signature designs of decades past.

As People reported, they're part of Starbucks' "Been There" series and there's one for each Disney park in America, and all of them feature the symbols and attractions that make each park special.

In total, there's one for the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios in Orlando, as well as Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in Anaheim.

As you might imagine, the one for the Animal Kingdom features a lot of creatures found throughout the world, but also their signature tree of life and a reference to their popular dinosaur ride.

Of course, as it's Disney World's flagship attraction, there's a lot going on in the Magic Kingdom mug.

From Splash Mountain to Pirates of the Caribbean to the tea cup ride, the highlights of the experience are here and Cinderella's Castle takes center stage as usual.

Each one costs about $20, but there's a special trick to getting them.

Since it's called the "Been There" series, the idea is that collectors are supposed to obtain each one at the parks they represent.

For instance, you won't find the Epcot one anywhere in Disney World but Epcot.

Not only that, but visitors are supposed to seek out different Starbucks locations to find them.

According to People, it's been revealed that the one in Magic Kingdom can be found at the Main Street Bakery, the one at Epcot is at the Fountain View, and the Animal Kingdom one is at Creature Comforts.

At this time, there's no word on where the one in Hollywood Studios can be found.

That's also true of both of the mugs available at either of Disney's California parks.

We weren't even sure what these ones looked like until an Instagram account called @our.happiest.adventures revealed them to the world, but tracking them down will just have to be an adventure in and of itself for now.
