Kristen Bell Reveals Why She Once Had To Breastfeed Dax Shepard

Breastfeeding is an experience like no other. Most moms go into it thinking, "How hard could this be?" And then you find out that not only is it harder than you imagined, but you can also get weird infections from it, too. What?

Kristen Bell recently revealed how she recruited her husband to help her resolve a pesky clogged duct. Dax Shepard, I think you win husband of the year for this.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are the definition of #RelationshipGoals.

They are so supportive of each other, and as this story proves, there is literally nothing Dax won't do for Kristen.

They are also awesome parents to two little girls.

They welcomed daughters, Lincoln, in 2013, and Delta, in 2014. When it comes to parenting, these two are always so funny and relatable about their struggles.

When it comes to sharing aspects of parenthood, Kristen never holds back.

She posted these photos from her delivery room on Instagram and gave fans a look at the birth of her youngest daughter. Of course, only Kristen would try swinging from an IV pole in labor.

They aren't afraid to be too gross, either.

Kristen recently recorded a song called "Oopsies" that was written by her daughter and it's about farts. Yup, you read that right. Farts.

Kristen is such an inspiring and relatable mom that she was picked to host a web series for Ellen Degeneres called "Momsplaining".

In the show, she talks about the nitty-gritty (and usually somewhat gross) aspects of motherhood that no one else addresses. It's a must-watch for any mom!

In a recent episode, Kristen opened up about her breastfeeding experiences.

She revealed that she had suffered from mastitis, an infection and inflammation of the breast caused by milk building up.

A clogged milk duct is usually the culprit behind mastisis, and the only way to clear it is to feed the baby or use a breast pump.

However, Kristen and Dax were in Atlanta and she was desperate to clear the blockage. So she asked Dax for help.

"So I said to my husband, 'I really need you to suck this out,'" Kristen explained.

"We could talk about it, we could be weird about it, or you could just go ahead and nurse,” she said.

To his credit, Dax obliged and cleared the duct.

Ahhh, the things we'll do for love.

No one ever thinks that they will have to breastfeed their husband, but sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Dax's sacrifice didn't go unnoticed either. Kirsten said, "...I’ve never been more in love. In my life," when describing how Dax helped her out.

Awww!
