Anna Faris Revealed How Chris Pratt Told Her He Was Going To Propose

Earlier this year, Chris Pratt popped the question to Katherine Schwarzenegger, and needless to say, we were all very excited about this.

But at the same time, we were all wondering how Chris' ex-wife, Anna Faris, was taking the news.

Anna and Chris were married from 2009 to 2018, and ended things on a very peaceful note.

Supposedly, the pair mutually terminated their marriage and were on more than civil terms with each other.

When Anna heard the news that Chris was engaged to Katherine, she let it be known to the world that she was very happy for them.

“Sweet Chris, my ex, got engaged to Katherine today and I’m so happy for them. I knew that it was gonna happen, and I love her and I love him. I’m just so happy that they found each other.”

Chris totally kept Anna in the loop when he proposed, by texting her the following morning.

“Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, I proposed to Katherine last night. And I was like ahhh, that’s amazing" she added.

After Chris announced his and Katherine's engagement on Instagram, Anna commented to congratulate them.

"I'm so happy for you both!! Congratulations!," she wrote.

So it's blatantly obvious at this point that there are no hard feelings to be had.

While some my find their dynamic to be unusual, I think they've handled their divorce like absolute champs.

They are far from being your typical picture of a divorced couple.

Since splitting from Chris, Anna has been dating cinematographer Michael Barrett.

The two met while they were filming the remake of Overboard, and made things official later in 2017.

She's been living her best life!

Anna even admitted that she and Chris have a surprisingly great relationship, post-divorce — all things considered.

Anna added that “throughout all of these uncoupling circumstances,” she and Chris have been able to maintain “kindness and love” toward each other.

Chris even called Anna before proposing to his now-finacé.

“So, he was so sweet, as he always is. He called me like, ‘So, I’m going to ask Katherine to marry me. I just wanted to give you a heads up.’ And I was like, ‘That’s awesome!’" Anna said.

Anna and Katherine have actually met a few times, and apparently get along swimmingly.

"Anna and Katherine have met a few times and get along and that was very important to Chris," sources say.

Anna added that during the phone call, she made Chris aware that she was an ordained minister.

She said that she even offered to officiate the wedding.

Can you imagine your ex wife officiating your marriage to your new wife?

I don't care how great of friends Anna and Chris are — that is just way too awkward.

Chris and Katherine got engaged in January, and although we don't have the details about how everything went down, sources say it was cute AF.

“Chris was very sweet when he proposed to Katherine, as he had a romantic speech prepared explaining how important she was to him," the source said.

"Katherine complements Chris and is very good for him."

"Anna is excited for Chris and Katherine and above all is happy Chris is with someone who loves Jack (Anna and Chris' son) like their own," a source said.

"The couple got engaged quick but everyone around them saw it coming. They really are a great couple that have a solid foundation. Chris had the approval of the family and everyone is excited for their union," they added.

So, one thing is very clear: Anna Faris is the coolest ex-wife of all time.

Chris should consider himself very lucky. Not every divorcee is fortunate enough to have such a supportive, easygoing ex.

Do you think it's weird that Chris ran it by his ex-wife the night before proposing to Katherine?

Or was that the polite, courteous thing to do?

Is their friendship bizarre? Or are they the perfect example of divorce-goals?
