Millionaire Makes Open Offer For Personal Assistant To Travel The World With Him

In classic fairy tales, it wasn't uncommon for the main character to end up in an incredibly unhappy situation only for a Prince Charming type to swoop in and suddenly solve all of her problems.

More modern twists on this trope don't always make this person a prince (the world is kind of running out of those), and some will depict this relationship as a little more complicated than simply "happily ever after" but the fantasy still exists.

And although there's nothing necessarily romantic about what one Australian millionaire is offering, those who feel like Cinderella right now might be tempted to see him in a similar light.

For the past three years, 26-year-old Matthew Lepre has built an e-commerce empire.

As news.com.au reported, he dropped out of the University of Melbourne at 23 and worked various manual labor jobs to support his mother.

While doing this, however, he attended a seminar in Sydney and learned the basics of creating an online business from an American business coach.

This gave him the tools to launch an e-commerce business that would eventually earn him $120,000 per month.

As he expanded these ventures into four online stores, he started to notice others asking him how to achieve similar success themselves, so he started another business intended to coach them as he had once been coached.

Both of these avenues take Lepre all over the world and that's how he generally prefers to work.

This is where his offer for what he calls "The World's Coolest Job" comes in.

Without getting too specific, he announced his desire to hire a personal assistant in a YouTube video where he said his new employee will be traveling the world and working closely with him.

As you might have guessed, there are a few qualities he's looking for in a personal assistant.

However, a college degree isn't one of them. Since he dropped out himself, he's willing to consider anyone over 18 who meets the requirements.

As he told news.com.au, "I’m after someone that is organised and has great management skills, can arrange travel itineraries, has strong knowledge of social media channels, ability to multitask, excellent attention to detail along with other business admin tasks such as computer skills."

And since traveling the world is a big part of the job, applicants should have a valid passport for at least 12 months.

As he said, "Travelling while I work has allowed me to live my ideal life, and I want to give someone the opportunity to do the same alongside me."

Whoever gets this position will likely end up joining Lepre on upcoming trips to Spain, Greece, Croatia, and Miami.

Of course, Lepre isn't just expecting to attract people with the experience alone.

The personal assistant can expect a base salary of $52,000 a year plus insurance benefits. All of their travel and accommodations will also be covered as they travel with him.

While this may seem like a given, Lepre also expects applicants to be willing to work hard.

Although his work takes him to a lot of exotic locales where he can enjoy lavish luxuries, he also says that every day is a busy one.

As he put it, “I do a lot of work every day, but I operate on a philosophy of work hard, play harder."

Lepre also recommends that applicants subscribe to his YouTube channel to see if the job is right for them.

He also said he will be doing weekly vlogs during the application process that offer a behind-the-scenes look at his life to ensure that they know what they're getting into.

All that said, those who are interested in his offer can apply here through his eCommerce Warrior Academy website.
